The Garden Club welcomes all residents of Lake Sherwood Subdivision. If you’re a
new resident, this is a wonderful way to meet and get to know your neighbors. If
you’ve lived in the neighborhood for a long time, it’s a great way to renew friendships
and find some great new friends! Annual dues are twenty-five dollars, and your membership
includes our Handbook each year.
Meetings are held at various members’ homes on the third Thursday of each month,
unless noted in the Handbook. Each month, there are special programs, and, on some
occasions, we go to lunch or other activities out of the subdivision. Refreshments
are served at each meeting, provided by the co-hostesses.
We have an Annual Summer Barbecue Dinner at the Clubhouse in August to kick off each
new season. It is a Western theme with music and dancing and lots of delicious food!
Western-type clothes are the order of the day!
If you are interested in joining us, please contact one of the officers or the Membership
Chairman, LaNelle Johnson (225-292-5005). We would love to meet you and welcome
you into the Club!
